Returns Policy

IF THE REASON FOR THE RETURN IS DUE TO AN ERROR ON OUR PART:

  • Note:  We do not pay for shipping replacement parts but will refund original shipping for parts shipped in error, damaged, lost etc.  Upgrading shipping is available but is the responsibility of the buyer.
  •   You received the wrong part (AKA mispicked part): If we send you something other than what you ordered.  Of course we pay to bring it back and send you the right one at our expense.   NOTE: Subaru part numbers do change (supersede) from time to time, in these cases we may send you a different number than your order but the part will be the same (previous or new/current part number).   The procedure is as follows:  First, we will send you a UPS return label so you can return the mispicked part.  You can choose from the following on how and when to receive the correct part

1) Once the part arrives here we will ship the replacement. 

 2) You can place a new order for the replacement part and once the mispicked part arrives here we refund the price of the part and its associated original shipping charges. 

  •   You received a damaged part If you receive something DAMAGED: Every shipment we send is insured against loss, theft, damage. You should receive an email when your order ships with your contract number and a link directly to the claim company. If not, we can get it quickly from your order and send you all the information you need. Most claims are paid immediately to you via a virtual credit card where you can reorder as necessary. On the rare occasion the payment is delayed, it is usually resolved (paid) within 24 hours.
  •   You received a defective part WARRANTY:  If a part is defective the Subaru warranty is 12 months/unlimited miles (whichever comes first) from date of purchase. If a part is defective it can be warrantied at any Subaru dealer.  Bring the part and your invoice to a dealer and the dealer must do a replacement part, over the counter warranty.  Some dealers will try to tell you they only cover parts they sell, this is not true. This assumes the part is truly defective and not damaged or faulty due to installation error etc. If you want us to warranty the part you will need to ship defective part back.  We do not pay shipping to and from on defective parts since they can be warrantied at local Subaru dealers coast to coast. We will also need your VIN and rough mileage at the time of installation to get the warranty process underway with Subaru, this is information they require.
  •   Your order was lost in transit: Every shipment we send is insured against loss, theft, damage. You should have received an email with your contract number and link to the claim company but in the event you did not receive it we can get it all right from your order and send to you. The claim company will handle reimbursement to you directly.
  •   IF THE REASON FOR RETURN IS DUE TO AN ERROR ON YOUR PART: WE CAN NOT EXCHANGE PARTS.
    • Restocking Fees:  We charge a 20% restocking fee on all returned parts if they are completed or on order from Subaru.  In order to process your order we incur expenses, if parts are returned we need to charge a restocking fee to pay those expenses and the expense of processing the return. 
  •   There is no return on the following parts or condition of parts:  
  •   Refused/Undeliverable Packages: Any refused/undeliverable packages will be credited for the sale price of the part(s) (original shipping charges are not refundable) less a 20% restocking fee and return freight charges. 
  • Parts that are installed or damaged (except as damaged by a freight carrier on the way to you),
  • Part received by you at least 21 days ago, because Subaru doesn't accept returns after that time
  • There are no returns on electrical parts, fuel related parts, bare engine or cylinder head assemblies, SRS parts (including seat belts/buckles), catalytic converters, any glass, any wiring harness.
  • Any kits must be complete.
  • Any part that has been taken out of its sealed packaging
  • Any part that has been installed already, even if only to test fitment.
  •  Any part that has been damaged either after receipt, or during return shipping
  • Any part with the OEM part label missing, or unreadable
  • All original factory packaging must be intact and returned with the part (if returnable) (ie bagged parts must have bag, boxed parts must have box etc) or we reserve the right to charge up to $10 more per part to replace the packaging.
  • Any parts ordered WITHOUT A VALID VIN are not returnable. 
  • Any parts ordered that are not applicable to your VIN number.
  • Contact us via email for approval and an return authorization number  (To contact us via email go to your order confirmation and reply to the email).
  • Please include a copy of your order confirmation email and the return authorization email inside the package indicating the part(s) you are returning. 
  • All returns must be shipped back to us. Absolutely no returns directly to store via walk-in.  
  • If you are  not sure how to package items being returned to avoid transportation damage, please take items to your local UPS Store ( UPS store locator URL https://www.ups.com/dropoff?loc=en_us ) or the US Post Office for proper packaging
  •   Return Instructions:
  • We will start the return process and email you a return label. The customer is responsible for any return shipping costs unless we made an error which we pay for return shipping.

  • CORE RETURNS:  All core returns, when required to be returned, must be in the box we sent it in, be a Subaru core (not aftermarket core), complete, undamaged and fully assembled.  All caps, covers etc. that may cover any holes must be taken off the new unit and used to plug the old unit.  Any moving parts such as pulleys or starter gears must spin.  If the new unit was in a bag it must be returned with the bag.  Return shipping charges are the customers responsibility.  There is no restocking fee on cores.


  • Contact us to arrange for any returns.
  • A copy of the invoice will need to be included with the return.
  • There is a 20% restocking fee charged against all returned parts.
  • Parts must be resaleable and in the original packaging.
  • We cannot take back used parts.
  • We cannot take back installed or tried parts.
  • Electrical parts are not returnable.
  • We do reserve the right to refuse and return any parts we find have been installed, are used or do not meet the above criteria.
  • Return request need to be within 30 days of receipt.


Cancellation Policy

  • An order or a portion of an order may be cancelled up until the time it is shipped and no longer in our possession.
  • If the cancelled part was special ordered from the manufacturer a return fee of 20% may apply.
